Restoring a Classic Complex

Earlier this year, the Plastics Group of America (TPG) purchased the desperately-in-need-of renovation Jules Desurmont mill complex in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.  Unlike similar rehab projects undertaken on comparable bulidings, instead of converting the mill's vast enviroment into condos or residences of some sort, TPG is committed to returning the complex to its manufacturing roots.

In the months ahead, we will be tightening the structure, fixing the roof, replacing windows, building new loading docks, and rehabbing the interior of this magnificent structure.  It is with great pride that we undertake this project.  It is a great building with a fascinating history of serving a variety of industries.  We look forward to adding the plastic production industry to that long line of businesses served.

TPG Improves Customer Service

TPG is once again "Doing the Needful" for both our sales staff and their customers - last week, we gave all of our sales staff members new tablets.  We believe providing them with this advanced technology will benefit the company in two significant ways - it will increase the productivity and communicative abilities of the individuals who have them, allowing them to be even more responsive to customer requests.  They will have immediate access to the latest product data sheets and other critical customer information, enabling them to generate solutions for specific customer problems faster than ever before.  It is a capital expenditure well worth making if it results in higher customer satisfaction.
